Welcome to the Official website of the Micketts Dart Team.
For those of you who have not met us before, Micketts was formed back in 1997, although our origins date back much further. The name, as we are often asked, is, and will remain, a mystery to all those outside the team. We are confident that there is no other team with the same name in the United Kingdom!
Currently, we toe the oche in the Hanworth Mini Darts League, having made the switch from the Hampton and District Mini League in the Summer of 2002.
Our team consists of a hard core of five, although other players have come and gone over time. We pride ourselves in having a laugh, whilst still trying to perform at a reasonable standard when standing 7'9 1/4" from the board.
We like to also consider ourselves as a little more than two dimensional, and we often break away from 501-up to chance our arm at other sports, although anyone who has spotted us on the Golf Course will probably want to politely suggest that we should stick with what we are good at!
The team embarks on weekends away, and any other event where alcohol is served.
This site, as such, provides all the usual profiles, results, stats, and general dart throwing news, and also some of the other activities and antics involving The Micketts.
